Politico has been doing a great job recently of writing about how much change is about to occur in the Legislature and the Congress. FYI, it is estimated that by 2024 at least half (60 out of 120) of California’s senators and assemblymembers will be new. As Politico writes, “A once-in-a-decade confluence of developments is set to launch a sweeping Sacramento shift. Three factors are likely to fuel an extraordinary level of turnover: redistricting, term limits and Democrats’ grim prospects for maintaining their congressional majorities.
