his annual event, organized by the California Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CALACAP), brought together child advocacy partners such as NAMI, Children Now, and the California Alliance of Child and Family Services to discuss legislative priorities for the coming year and issues facing children and families in California. As part of the conference, CALACAP recognized Assemblywoman Jacqui Irwin and Assemblymember Rick Chavez Zbur as its “2023 Children’s Heroes.”
