The initiative’s goals are to build local capacity for trusted community-based providers to expand older adult behavioral health services, address isolation and loneliness by continuing an emotional support warmline for older adults, and reduce stigma through an ethnic media outreach campaign. Learn more about the history, goals, and strategies in the Advancing Older Adult Behavioral Health fact sheet. Join the California Department of Again in this crucial dialogue and share your insights atOABH@aging.ca.gov as we work together to create a California for all ages and abilities.
