State of Emergency – Children’s Mental Health

Several organizations, including CSAP, signed on to a letter to Governor Newsom requesting that he formally declare the status of child and adolescent mental health in California a public health emergency. Other organizations signing this call to action included the American Academy of Pediatrics, California, the California Council of Community Behavioral Health Agencies, the California Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the California Alliance of Child and Family Services, Children Now, the California Children’s Hospital Association, and Stanford Children’s Health. You may view the letter here
